Our intentions are good. We join the gym and start a new diet but as the weeks progress our motivation fades. The monthly gym subscription gets paid but you haven’t been to the gym in months.

Personal Training
Your trainer will take time to discuss your lifestyle, goals, experience and health. From this information, we can design a programme unique to you. You will receive nutritional pointers and take away workout sessions that you can do in the comfort of your own home. No gym membership required. Our Personal Training sessions are charged by the hour so you can share that cost with another 2 friends or family members.

Group Classes
At Eventfit, it’s all about tailor-making fitness to meet your needs. With this in mind, we are happy to arrange outdoor fitness classes for groups of 5 or more. Perfect for wedding parties or groups training for mud runs.

Ashleigh has always had a keen interest in staying fit and healthy but really took it to the next level when signing up for fitness challenges. She has completed the Brighton Marathon in 2013 in a respectable time and has completed the Southeast Tough Mudder Challenge (12 miles and 21 obstacles) in June this year along with other mud runs and races.

‘You really become focused when you have something to train for. I wouldn’t normally have got up early at the weekend and run 20 miles in the rain if I wasn’t doing a marathon.’

Everyone strives to have a healthy lifestyle but for some people, keeping up the motivation is really hard. New Year’s resolutions come and go.

A wedding or a holiday will spur people on for a short time but then the motivation drops. If your fitness levels aren’t great to start with, there is a tendency to think you can’t do exercise or don’t enjoy exercise. Training for an event gives you a phenomenal sense of achievement and the by-product is being fit in both body and mind.

“I have always had a keen interest in fitness and regularly attended a gym and fitness classes. So much so, I embarked on completing my Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Training qualifications so I could share my enthusiasm with others.
It wasn’t until I did my course, that I realised my whole approach to the gym before I was qualified wasn’t as effective as it could be. I would do lengthy cardio sessions followed by jumping from one weight machine to another not really sure what I was working and how it was of benefit.

Since becoming a Personal Trainer, I have experimented with different disciplines, from running 10Ks to focusing on weight training. There isn’t a diet that I haven’t tried and tested. Not only do I have the knowledge to get you to your goals, I have also road tested it.
There are so many people I see in the gym that just need a little direction. You don’t need a Personal Trainer for life. Sometimes you just need someone to guide you in the right direction.

Motivation

Sometimes it is hard to be self-disciplined. You start off full of enthusiasm but then can fall by the wayside. Excuses start to creep in. ‘I don’t have time’ I am so tired’ I will do extra tomorrow’ ‘I will start again next week’ Have us train you will keep you on your toes. We will set small goals and challenges to keep you motivated and on track.

New to Exercise

You want to exercise but either have no idea where to start or feel that you are too unfit. We will talk through your lifestyle habits and what you want to achieve. We will then design a programme specific to your needs and easy to follow.

Sports Specific

You have a burning desire to compete on a marathon or a mud run. We have experience in taking part in such events and getting trained ready. Let us set you a training programme that will get you into tip top condition and get you event fit.
